The Walker Cricket Ground is a multi-sports ground and registered charity whose purpose is to provide sporting facilities to the people of Southgate and surrounding community. It is located in Waterfall Road in Southgate and has a substantial main Pavilion perfect for functions of all occasions on a scenic 14 acre site. The outdoor sports facilities include cricket pitches, football pitches, a rugby pitch and four tennis courts. The Ground is suitable also suitable for Corporate away days and team building events.
The main Pavilion houses six squash courts, changing facilities, two bars and a number of function areas and meeting rooms available for hire. Our caterers provide a vast menu which can be tailored to your specific requirements. From a formal functions providing canapés to wow your corporate clients, to something more relaxed such as a BBQ the Walker Ground is the ideal venue.
Every Friday we hold our Friday Supper club in a relaxed atmosphere which is suitable for all the family. There’s plenty of room to chill with your friends and enough space for all the family of all ages. Our bar is also open daily to the public from 5pm (12pm on weekends) and offers great coffee, real ale, a nice selection of wine and delicious food. Please feel free to pop in and pay us a visit.
On the nearest Saturday to 5th November the Ground runs a large Fireworks Event which attracts over 6,000 local people.

Memorial Reception 5 Attended a memorial reception held here after a friend's funeral and the welcoming atmosphere of the well maintained cricket ground,beautiful surroundings, excellent facilities & appetising catering + free parking onsite all helped to keep spirits up and fittingly conclude our dear departed's fond farewell.
