Martin Scannell was born and bred in Enfield with he and both his sons having attended St George’s School. His sons are keen rugby and football players for Old Grammarians and New Salamis respectively. His wife also runs a successful Street Dance School locally and is fully embedded in the local Enfield community.
Martin was an Equity Sales Trader for over twenty years working at top tier banks such as Dresdner Bank, Deutsche Bank and BNP Paribas and has always worked in a highly compliant and regulated environment. After leaving investment banking he studied for his Chartered Insurance Institute Diploma in Financial Planning and chose to partner with St James’s Place who he considers the most professional company he has worked for. By doing this, he is able to offer the St James’s Place Guarantee.
